Who we are

Laminar Medica specialises in the design, test, manufacture and qualification of insulated shipping systems, used by the pharmaceutical and biotech industries globally. These systems protect vaccines, drugs, blood and associated medical products from extremes of temperature during transportation.

History

The company was first established in 1975, and with the backing of the CliniMed Group, has grown to become a leading industry supplier. With manufacturing facilities in Tring, UK and Vodnany, Czech Republic, and the addition of a warehouse facility in Mannheim, Germany, we are able to service customers cost-effectively and quickly. Other global sites are planned for the future as part of our strategy to become the industry’s leading global supply partner.

We have twice been awarded the Queens Award for Enterprise, which recognises the dedicated work of the Laminar team in opening up significant new markets within the EU. We are also ISO9001:2000 compliant.
